Bama does get help from the zebras. But that was going on long before Saban. Bama got a spot early on on a third down run out of bounds that was a good yard and a half past where the guy went out. Gave them a first down. It did not matter as they dominated. An early roughing the passer penalty was also phantom as well.

Under the table money, the ability to look the other way at disqualifying behavior.

There are quite a few programs that can pull that off. Heck even lowly SMU managed that stunt in the 80s. Don't think that was it. A lot of traditional programs get help from zebras. That can explain a game, but not the sort of thing they have going on.

Ability to overlook academically disqualifying behavior with the assistance of university officials?

Or fixers to keep them out of trouble with the law...?

Spot on.

Kickoff goes out of bounds; ball on 35. Point to make is 45 for first down.

First series.
Sack on 2nd down.
3rd and 13.
Screen pass in flat.
Receiver gets run out of bounds just short of the 45.
It's possible he put the ball over the line, but the spot was the 46.

There is no possible way he made the 46. Keeps the drive alive.

On the ensuing touchdown pass, a defender is already in the air horizontal diving at Tua as the pass is thrown. He hits Tua's ankles and he goes down. Roughing the passer is called, and Bama kicks off from the 50.

That was 2-3 minutes in, and it went downhill from there.

No reviews, no mention from the booth. No nothing.

The beat goes on...

One overlooked key is that Bama has one less tough conference game than LSU every year. They get Tennessee. We get Florida. Tennessee was last competitive in 2001. It always helps.

Top-ranked teams do get the benefit of the doubt from the refs, media, etc. (sometimes too much). This is some ways is similar to how some NBA players (LeBron) are treated. Unless someone has evidence of money changing hands between Alabama and the refs, I will discount that as childish chatter.
My view.....Saban's success is all about one thing, High Expectations. Saban EXPECTS THE BEST from his coaches, players, administration, fans, himself, etc.

you don't hear it much but I still believe there is something in the water they are drinking
either that are they have the best strength and conditioning program anywhere around.
Does the NCAA random test for banned substances or does the team random test and self report ?
