the problem with this matchup is Miami just doesn't travel

A lot of it has to due with the venue, nothing more. Jerry has to get his money. It is a giant scam.

Oklahoma and ASU are still on the schedule. NC State and Colorado were canceled. TCU went from a home and home to one neutral game.

I don't think this is LSU's call. LSU has been lowering prices to home games in Tiger Stadium

It's not LSU's call on how to price the tickets like for the bowls.
Also for the others complain it's too expensive, the get in the door price has dropped to mid $60's

Face for upper is $100. Lower level tix on Stubhub are trending around $125 and up, face is $200 and higher depending on exact seats.

I suspect that teams (pro & college) dump blocks of tickets anonymously on sites like Stubhub so they don't take a total bath on unsold tix.

Going to football games doesn't have to be affordable for everyone. I'm not even sure LSU sets the prices for the tickets for this game.
They don't. The sponsor or the stadium sets the prices based on what they think they can get. Many attendees will be Dallas/Fort Worth area residents that like going to Jerry World.
