I wish the best for Arden Key.

But in the final analysis, did he give HIS "best" to LSU?

His journey and behavior indicates a troubled pattern. I hope he figures it out and counts his blessings. He is a fabulous athlete and apparently mixed with the wrong crowd. Is that element still in our program?

Let's hope we have purged the bad element and let's hope AK becomes AK-47.

Does it? Prior to his final year I do not think he had any issues at LSU. Between he and his family it was decided he should take the time to get his life together outside of football (with the knowledge of his coaches, IIRC) and he still returned for his junior year. Yes he was out of shape but improved as the season went, So many "troubled" players ignore issues until they get out of college and completely fall apart.

That element is in every program.
