Norm is the one celebrity that can get away with it given his continuous career suicide by giving the middle finger to executives. He’s got a ton of respect in the comedic community for this and it’s the only reason he keeps on getting gigs.
It’s a fricking travesty that Colbert got the Late Show over Norm. Norm was Letterman’s personal choice for his successor, but the executives said “no fricking way”. It’s obvious even from the mid-90s that Letterman was grooming Norm to be his successor, but Norm has burnt way too many executive bridges for him to get that chance. I’m glad Netflix is throwing him a bone, because Norm is a great interviewer and bring in nothing but Grade A guests.

Late night would be so much better with Norm in there. One of the funniest guys alive today. If anyone hasn't seen Norm hosting the youtube red carpet show, do yourself a favor and watch it. LINK
