In an attempt to keep the 100s of individual threads from dominating the first few pages.

Simple Rules:
1. If you want someone to rate your team with some detail, spend time doing it for others.
2. Put in pertinent league data along with your roster: Size, Scoring, Starters, etc.
3. See Rule #1.

10 Team PPR
QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, K, D/ST
Standard scoring everywhere else.

QB: Rodgers
RBs: Kamara, McCaffery, Lewis, White
WRs: Cooper, Crabtree, Anderson, Agholor, Edelman, Meredith
TE: Ingram, Reed
K: Boswell
D: Philly

WRs are lacking. Will be waiver wire hunting, and looking to flip a RB and/or TE to those in need.

WR is going to be a problem for you. I see you being below average more often than not against your opponents

Great upside at TE

QB and RB will be hard to beat. I would have liked to see your team without Rodgers and getting a QB later in the draft

What are your thoughts on Burton?

He was my draft target and managed to get him in the 10th round

Starters look good but the Redskins offense could be a shitshow at WR and RB with Alex Smith at QB.

Mike Williams in Y2 should give you good depth but RBs after Cook are shaky.

Need some help at RB if Michel stays hurt and Johnson doesn’t carve out a big chunk from Riddick and Blount.

No chance Michel is back for Week 1?

I don’t need him just yet but if Hunt and Lynch start getting injured or underperform I like Michels upside to keep the boat afloat

The WRs who were available when I grabbed Rodgers: Evans, Thielen, Green, Tate, Schuster, and Hill.

Rolled the dice thinking I could put a startable WR group later. Edelman will be a big factor as well and how much Meredith, Agholor and Anderson can produce.

Knee surgery could keep him out in W1. Maybe, maybe not, but don’t expect Belichick to rush him back with White, Burkhead and Hill available.

14 team work league, where apparently a couple of people knew nothing of fantasy football.

.5 PPR, 4 points for passing TD, 6 for all others, no bonuses

QB - Cousins, Mahomes

RB - Zeke Elliot, Dalvin Cook, Rashaad Penny, Tarik Cohen, Jamaal Williams

WR - Davante Adams, Adam Thielen, Smith-Schuster, Emmanuel Sanders

TE - Eifert (need a back up)

K - Gould

Def - Ravens

FWIW - Guice was drafted in the first round, then that same team drafted Darren Sproles in the second lmao. This is a 50$ money league too.

Yeah I had 12th pick and was hoping one of Hunt, Gordon, McCaffrey or Fournette would be available. They weren't. 10 of first 11 picks were RBs.

I then had a beer or 3 too many and forgot that Hyde was with Cleveland. I took him WAY too early.

It happens, I'd wait for one of your bench wr to have a big game then use that as trade bait

I was also banking on one either shady or Ingram in the 3rd/4th and got scooped.

ETA: But the trade bait strategy is what I'm hoping for. Particularly Cobb or Willams. I'd like to keep Ridley next year if he's as good as I believe he will be.

What are your thoughts on Burton?

Nagy should try and make him fit the Kelce role in this offesne, a lot of upside there

quote:

He brought in a receiving-first option at the TE position in former Eagle Trey Burton, to serve as Nagy’s Travis Kelce/Zach Ertz. While Burton isn’t the overall athlete Kelce or Ertz are, he can still move, and could be the “move” TE to Adam Shaheen and Dion Sims’ in-line position. A former college QB, Burton threw a TD to Nick Foles in Super Bowl LII on the “Philly Special” play, and it’s an example of the versatility he brings to the table that earned him the ability to cash in with the Bears. Overall in 2017, Burton had 23/248/5 receiving on 31 targets (74.2%, 10.78 YPR). But in the two games Ertz missed, he finished as the TE7 (Week 9) and TE1 (Week 14), when his snaps went way up. Burton is a solid athlete who played QB in college at Florida before converting to TE, and he’s a better receiver at the position than a lot of teams had in their #1 TE… he was Philly’s #3. Burton’s situation feels a lot like Delanie Walker’s situation behind Vernon Davis in San Francisco in 2012. Keep in mind that Nagy was part of an offense in Kansas City last year that ran 431 plays with two or more TEs on the field, 9th-most in the NFL. Burton’s ADP of TE9 is a testament to how thin the position is overall, but there’s tangible upside here.

quote:

Bears' TEs haven't seen much usage the last two years. In contrast, the Reid/Nagy Chiefs threw a LOT to their TEs. And it's not just to the top TE: last year, Travis Kelce had 71% of the TE targets on the team, 12 other TEs had a larger share even though Kelce's 122 targets led all TEs. Over the last four years, Nagy's TEs have averaged 29% of the teams targets and never lower than 27%. While 2013 was noticeably less, I feel comfortable projecting 26% of the 2018 Bears' targets to their tight ends – close to 140 total targets. That would have been a top quartile number in 2018 but not Top 5. So it doesn't feel excessive.

Hes obviously not Kelce, I wonder how many targets he gets tho?

90?

quote:

Buy all the Trey Burton: Four of Mitch Trubisky’s first five completions were to Burton, as Bears coach Matt Nagy showed what he learned from his time spent with Andy Reid. If this is a preview of what’s to come, I love what I see in Burton’s potential volume. Fellow Chicago TE Adam Shaheen went down with an injured right ankle, which could mean even more work for Burton this season. The former Eagle finished his short stint on the field catching four of his five targets for 45 yards and a score.

had a nice preseason 2 showing
