If Urban was gonna be let go (spoiler: he never was) then they’d have done it already. They’re just trying to craft the right PR message and look at other factors that might appease some of the mob

I mostly agree. But, I also don't think they originally thought it was a big deal at all. The AD went on vacation for a week in the middle of the "investigation".
Now it has turned into a bigger deal than they thought.
Given what we known, I agree he stays. I wouldn't be surprised to find a bigger cover up that Urban knew about and no way for tOSU to skirt out of a domestic abuse cover up.

No one will care when football starts. Hell, they don't care now. They'll talk about it on shows for the gossips, but that's about it.

He didn't report it to his employer. What the frick do you want them to have done if it wasn't disclosed to them?

You:
"Our coach is a slimey piece of shite, who protected another POS and he reflects badly on our university, and us as fans, and we're keeping him! Joke's on you guyz! Lulz!"
I never said they'd fire him, they clearly care too much about football but it's hilarious watching people defend such trashy people.
Basically OSU fans right now:

Yes, because Ohio State has always been hesitant to fire its good coaches.
Did I say anything negative about Ohio State? All I said is that they are trying to find a way to avoid firing him and losing a good coach. Nothing really wrong with that, but spending 500,000 dollars on a law firm to investigate it sure isn't looking for the truth. They are looking for way to explain he lack of action and to avoid firing him. If he does get fired I don't think it will be just this incident. But it will be the entire body of lack of oversight in his history.

Well, the only coach Ohio State has ever had as good as CUM was Woody Hayes and they sort of had to fire him since he threw punches at a opposing players helmet like a caveman
