Of all the things we waste money on, I’m not going to complain about something patriotic that’s a drop in the bucket. I mean, people have received public funds to blaspheme God by submersing a crucifix in piss and calling it art.

While we continue to run massive deficits and pile on debt like it doesn't matter, we need to get out of this mindset.
Also, I doubt this is going to be a one-year thing. If it goes throughout Trump's presidency it could end up costing $700M. That is no drop.
Also, does the military even want to do this shite? I'm sure they'd rather just have a paid vacation to go see their families.
