Is Tacoma that much better?
EDIT - Turns out Tacoma is much, much better and isn't impacted by the ridiculous Seattle home prices. It's also on track to having one of the highest home-price outlook in the future. You might be better off with Tacoma and making money in the long run.

Oh wow, did not see this post when I posted. I figured Tacoma would be pricey due to proximity to Seattle. Pacific NW might be preferable to southern california depending on one's disposition and interests.
