But wait a second, I thought libs said a bunch of people live in areas with only one ISP that had a monopoly. It’s not like most people are gonna revert to having no internet over raised rates. I’m sure if ISPs wanted to raise rates, they wouldn’t hold back on these people.

Some ISPs may not raise rates on everyone. They could go a completely different direction and not raise prices to the end user and just decide to throttle certain sites, (InfoWars for example) so that it doesn't stream in HD. Similar to how Charter Spectrum throttled Netflix and League of Legends in New York.
