I disagree strongly. I think it sent a lot of regressive messages that stagnated black Americans despite the fact that it was "edgy" and "cool".

Black music went from beautiful talented voices, tuxedos, and smiles to "attitude" and spitting as many curse words as possible into microphones while brandishing guns, money, and hoes with voluptuous asses.

First of all, What exactly is black music ???

And white artists have done the exact same thing
