i agreed fully until 2016

TDS and the Bernie angle have created a real home for the extreme/alt-Left

but even earlier on, you had the Ryan v. Pelosi battle for the progressive v. moderate DEM philosphy

when they ran a professed moderate last year in that GA election and pumped in like $30M for a loss, the cry the following day was "you see? we can't run moderates!"

just look at all the media publicity for Cortez and the DSA (Along with their growing membership rolls)

The operating strategy seems to be “they elected an idiot (trump) so let’s run even bigger idiots!”

This is exactly what happens when you’re out to win elections— rather than represent a constituency.
