So going on a bachelor party this weekend in Ft Lauderdale. Anyone have any suggestions, bars, clubs, daytime, night life that we should definitely do? Group of 30 year olds so no 18 year old places please. Thanks

I know a place that would be perfect for a group of 30 year olds, but this place is exactly 18 years old.

So I don't know what to say

Township and rooftop bar in Las Olas are the nicest and trendiest for 30 somethings at the moment.

You can also bar hope NOLA style at about 30 different bars in downtown. Will be more of a 20s crowd age wise but still plenty in their 30s and even some 40s.

American Social is also a decent one.

If you want to gamble, there is the Seminole hardrock about 10 minutes away.

If you want a pool party, you need to head down to Hyde Beach in Miami Saturday.

If you want a strip club its Scarletts. If you want to get crazy late night, 24 hours its Elleven in Miami.

Think that about covers it.

Start out at the Elbo Room at the beach

Agree.

I’d rather day drink at the elbo room than go to cheezy Miami clubs where you can’t get in without bottle service.

Hit the NY style pizza place around the corner.

You should mention the Elbo Room most closely resembles a biker bar for people in their 40s-60s as well.

Personally, I'm going to day drink on the beach or Blondies way before the elbo room if I happen to be right there.

Honesty, day drinking at the elbo room and the beach during the day, and then hitting Hard Rock Casino at night isn’t bad.

Most likely you are getting advice from people who have never gone further east than Destin or Orlando. Lauderdale is pretty cool

How would you describe it?

Its basically a very small very old dive bar across the street from the beach.

Not me, lol. There are few places I do not know from Boca to Key West.

And quite a few in west palm, delray, palm beach gardens, and Jupiter.

That’s what makes it so fun. It’s a divey open air bar with an acoustic guitarist playing live music all day. Much better daytime atmosphere than blondies or rock bar, which you could also check out within a block.

Get the pizza right next to it. It’s solid.
