I don't think people realize how easily he could have won this one.
He was solo 2nd and finished just 2 back... 2!
Meaning the 3-putt on 17 on Saturday and the +3 start on Thursday were all that kept him from winning... or Koepka simply making one or two mistakes.
That's not a moral victory.

Really the only "moral victory" was that we played really well on a back 9, on Sunday, in major, while in contention.
He hasn't done that, since what the 2012 masters?

You don't get to handpick certain strokes to remove, while keeping others.
Yes, he missed a birdie by two dimples of the ball.. but he also jammed in a par save on Saturday that could have cost him another stroke.
He shot a 64 on Sunday, which tied for lowest round of the day. He did everything he could do, and it wasn't enough. Koepka also missed three straight birdies of point blank range on the back 9..
