prices are all over the place, call 10 dirt delivery truck drivers, which is what you should do rather then asking here, and you will get 10 different prices depending on distance and location to the supply where they get the dirt.

the more you buy changes the price but not with all trucking companies so you gotta ask. when getting 10 loads you can get a good deal much lower then standard rates "if you shop around"

also get 2 more loads then you "think" you need, because it never spreads as far as you think it will. soil compaction under the weight is going to eat into how much coverage you get out of it. drop a truck load of dirt in the yard and after its all used up there is a 4"-6" depression to fill in where the dirt pile used to be.

i raised my whole yard 4" with dirt and after i got 1 extra load more then i figured i still ran short and had to order 2 more loads.

also there will be ruts to back fill where the trucks drive in and out so you need dirt to repair that as well

the prices i got were sometimes $20-$30 difference per load between companies and some dont do discounts for multiple loads. the company i went with saved me about $60 per truck load after the multi load discount rate. the 2 extra loads i got them to bring later were much higher because there was no discount on just getting 2 loads
