Not knocking because I really don't know. But, I have been skeptical since he posted the #1 overall baseball recruit was meeting with Paul Mainieri on a Monday in Baton Rouge that CPM was coaching the USA baseball team on the East Coast in a noon game against Japan.

He worded it like you described, so he is never wrong. Something like "take it for what it is worth" but I heard PM was meeting with The #1 recruit trying to convince him of the advantage of attending LSU.

How could anyone in the know not realize that PM was coaching against Japan that day?

How many commits did he predict the last LSU camp? LSU got a 4-star QB, did he predict that? Speigs predicted the top DB in JUCO ball, did Voltiger?

And didn't he say Young was smitten with LSU and had committed or was going to, only to see Young commit elsewhere two days later in spite of his love for LSU?
