Anyone have any news on the QB battle? Burrow Praise

I know information is limited until camp starts, but I truly hope we go with the best player. I would assume that best player is Burrow.
Anyone else see the amount of praise that he got from Urban Meyer and some of the OSU players?

Camp starts on Friday. Shortly after that there should be reports on who is getting the bulk of first team reps. Most (including myself) assume it will be Burrow.

I think there's a chance O feels allegiance to one of the QB's that have been at LSU. I also think that there's a chance that he goes with the best runner as well.

Speaking of O going with the #2 or 3 QB instead of #1, well as much as I liked Les Miles he benched his #1 for #2 or #3 when he was 8-0 in 2011. It is possible but God don't let it happen again !

This one is not that complicated. I think the assumption is that despite many politically correct statements that the job is open, Burrow was given the wink/nod during the recruiting process that the job is his to lose. Burrow could have validated this by looking at LSU spring practice where none of the three qbs stood out.
Do they start Burrow on day one of practice getting first team reps before the other three? Who knows? But the job is his to lose, most everyone knows that.
I think Orgeron is lying if he says the job is "wide open", but not lying if he says the job is open. All that means to me is that they may give Burrow keys to run this run the office, but if he runs it into a tree he will get his keys taken away.
Unfortunately the bar for Burrow, based on spring practice, is low. That's why he picked LSU, he wants to play right away at a major program and that about the only time LSU being poor at qb has helped them.
I have by no means given up on the other three. Just keeping it real, none of the three looked like quality SEC starters in the spring.

Was talking to a D starters dad and said the DB's intrigued by Burrow. They are curious if he will look as good as he has in 7 on 7's, when they go live in pads

Damn dude you are pretty pathetic and obviously didn't do your research. Kind of hard to get playing time when your coach is already set on what QB he wants to start. I guess you missed the part where Burrow was set to be the starter until he got injured and fell down the depth chart too?
