You can rent these on a lake in Edgar Evans State Park in Tennessee (not too far from Nashville) I have not done it but may try to get the sister and brother in law to go with us..

Grew up on that lake. Grandparents had a 65ft houseboat at Center Hill marina and then at Hidden Harbor by Smithville. They sold it in the recession, but some of their friends still live out there. Nothing like waking up to still water and a light breeze.
