Sucks, but it is hard to blame him. Would be odd to go to Real Madrid though, as he'll likely end up in the same situation he's in now. He's Spanish though, so it could be his dream destination, and again, hard to fault him.

You guys will at least get a tribunal fee for him

but there is no culture of promoting academy players.

Pep would rather get the young players in the transfer market.

Foden being a life long fan and his loyalty might up stunting his development bc he will stay there to long. For the English national team's sake he needs be a first team regular somewhere in the next couple years.
