People don't want to here this. Groups like the NRA feed them a bunch of bullshite and any type of gun control means the government wants to take everyone's gun away.
I am all for people having a gun for protection and hunting, but I still don't understand why AR-15s are as easy to get, as they are.
People will post the same arguments. "It's our 2nd Amendment right to be able to buy all the guns we want. I'd rather see several mass shootings a year, involving an AR-15 than to give up my constitutional right"
I respect the 2nd Amendment, as I said before, I am all for people having guns for protection or hunting, but the 2nd amendment is a little more specific than "everyone has a right to own as many guns as they want"
No wants to see mass shootings happen. Don’t play that card. It’s not a trade off. There are not several mass shootings every year. They are not common. The media crams them down your throat for views. Tragedy sells papers. It has alwas been that way. Yes, if you have guns there will be gun related incidents, but that logic applies to everything. Everything you do carries a risk. As for AR-15s specifically, they are not responsible for the majority of firearm homicides. Most gun related incidents involve handguns. The fear of ARs is extremely over played.
