Downvote away but O didn't lose that game. The players did by not making the simple plays & by making stupid mistakes.

Jesus.. are you Paul Mainieri? Throw the players under the bus and back over them. When a team like LSU loses to a Sun Belt team it’s the coach’s fault for not having the team prepared.

Major difference when a D-1 baseball coach throws a player under the bus and when a fan calls it like he sees it.
I played and my son finished playing college baseball a few years ago. If he would have played for Manieri and PM would have called him out the way he has done numerous kids we would have had words.
But knowledgeable fans and sports writers can see when players don't perform their assignments, including turnovers, missed reads, and failing to get the ball to the open receivers. That has nothing to do with "throwing . . . bus".

Maybe O didn't have them prepared, but I doubt it from an x & O standpoint. They beat us man on man. And again, I didn't see throw either of those interceptions, fumble the ball, or miss the field goal. Not his fault.

I get so tired of the “team wasn’t prepared bullshite”. You can only prepare a team so much. There is only so much film you can watch. There is only so much you can do in practice.

At the end of the day, the players go on the field and have to execute. They did not. The coaches didn’t make brossette fumble. The players overlooked Troy and paid the price for it.
