A perfect storm requires all the elements to come together at the same time. Orgeron is such an obvious and complete deficit as HC that LSU literally cannot have a "perfect storm" opportunity as long as he is here.

It would be like hoping for a championship with the HC position vacated.

O is 17-6 since taking over as hc (74%). over that same period dan mullen went 13-9 (59%), gus malzahn went 16-7 (70%),and jimbo fisher went 14-8 (64%)........

O isn’t nearly as bad as some make him out to be.

And yet some one here have already written off O regardless of what he does from here on out.

I understand having an opinion, and believing strongly in it. What I do not understand is not allowing for the fact that opinion is wrong.

Gonna be a lot of people on here eating crow after the season.

Gonna be a great year for LSU sports!

This statement is definitive evidence of your lowered expectations. Why was Miles fired? It was because he had slipped and the administration believed he could not bring us back to championships. He consistently had 9+ win seasons.

O will never be a championship-caliber coach. Never. He doesn't have the talent, vision, or discipline. No one can credibly argue that point.

Despite assurances to the contrary, the administration hired the cheapest option they could that they thought could be foisted on the fanbase and people accepted the worst coach in the history of Ole Miss and someone that Syracuse wouldn't even accept for a job.

So, explain to me how a "perfect storm is brewing for this team" in 2018.

He's not as good either. He inherited a top 6 team in talent.
