Eh, they won two SEC east titles and made a shite load of money.
Imagine where their program would be without that move, but with the protests and the loss of Pinkel. If they were still in the Big 12 they would be looking down the barrel of possibly being left behind next round with that shitshow going on.
Now despite all their problems they are the SEC's problem, for better or for worse.
