And it’s irrelevant to whether it’s a tax or not. And you’ve been arguing this negotiation tactic for years, and yet it seems pretty pointless if the other side knows the tactic. Plus it’s apparently escalating due to the ineffectiveness in the first place if we’re now resorting to take it to the maximum possible threat level.
