If our schedule was not the hardest in the country

Honest question. How is the schedule any harder than when Florida was the best team in the East and LSU played a middle of the road team from the East? Now, it's just flipped. We still play the top team in the East and Florida was 4-7 last year. The SEC West is not as good as a whole as it was a few years ago when it was by far the premier division in college football. We've played quality OOC games before with Oregon, UNC, TCU and Wisconsin twice. The year's schedule seems to be more normal and than the outlier to me.

I've said it so many times on this board. Even with this schedule, we'd be talking playoff contention if this were a Miles coached team. No one EVER made talent excuses for Miles. No one EVER made schedule excuses for Miles. This whole lowering the bar bull shite is the reason O never should have been hired in the first place. You can't go from expecting to compete for the SEC every season to being ok with 8-4 or 9-3 seasons.

This is what the O haters have been saying for going on 2 years now. If this is the new norm, why did we fire Miles?
