I spent a lot of time in Huntsville doing consulting work when I was younger. The area really grew on me. A good mix of people, due to NASA and Redstone Arsenal there are a lot of highly educated transplants so it doesn't feel like incestuous old family Montgomery. It still has a southern, conservative charm and a culture. The scenery is also top notch.
If I was an aerospace engineer or defense acquisition professional I'd strongly consider it, but I'm not.
