I live a few blocks south and love being able to ride my bike there. But the sound is hot or miss. I saw King Krule there recently and the sound sucked. I would say 50% of the bands I see there have lousy sound and it's usually the lower fi bands that have intricate melodies. Big booming bass bands sound good.
