Any of y’all try to run on pavement vs concrete?
There’s a couple runners around here that stay on the street even though there’s quality sidewalks 5 feet to their left.
I know it may be a tad softer than the concrete just doesn’t seem worth it.

When I started running it was in Richmond and I was told to avoiding using the sidewalks. Generally the sidewalks were uneven and full of tripping hazards. Even though I'm not there anymore I still stick to the streets out of habit.

I run on the pavement just because the sidewalks are uneven or broken. I once tripped on broken sidewalk in the dark and broke my brand new phone.
