Anybody else following UTMB today? It’s my favorite race.

Watched a good bit of it Fri night. I love that you can watch the whole thing live pretty much. The scenery is top notch. Those little Swiss Alps towns are so damn neat; postcard esque. How’d the 5K go?

@ rsande - good job on the 10K dude. Nothing to be ashamed about with those splits. You’ll be rolling in the Fall.

@ hb - how’d it go this am? Strava must be glitchy because I only see 12 miles? Lol

Got in a Half this am to cap a 46 mile week. Only had 12 in the plan but took a CD mile and went another .1. Plan called for 2 WU, 10 @ 7:15-7:32. Ended up at 1:43 for the Half.

Strava actually was glitchy this morning just like it is about every Sunday morning.

Felt like hot trash all week. I caught that thing that's going round last Saturday and am still sick/recovering. Today's run was painful but the LSD pace was on target. In spite of all the cold/flu nonsense, I think I got my most miles ever in a week.

Glad you got a good week man, sounds like you're really hitting your stride with your training. Remind me, this is a marathon?

Nope, cut it short

May have a setback that I’ve been trying to avoid. The outer edge of my right foot is killing me if I go more than a few miles. Wonder if there isn’t a stress fracture or something.
