Question for all of yall more experienced runners- I felt fine- surprisingly after the half on Saturday and yesterday as well.
But today- for the love of all things- I’m exhausted as all get out.
Is delayed exhaustion a thing??
For what it’s worth, I’m 50 and this is the first half I’ve run in a few years.
My long runs don’t wear me out so am I just a huge whiney arse or is there some type of post race crash that affects old ppl like myself?

Any time I go over 10 miles (even on my easy runs), I come home, eat, shower, and crash. Finally get to feeling energetic again after lunch.

I’ve definitely experienced some runs/races where I felt worse two days later than I did the next day. I’m sure there’s outside factors that contribute.
