First Marathon Completed on Saturday

4:27 - not horrible not amazing, but still completed. Half came in right at 1:59 which was a PR for me.

Now time to train for the Grand Canyon Death March in October (Rim to Rim to Rim in less than 24 Hours - hope to complete it in sub-20 hours)

Then after the Death March will train to post a sub-4 Hour Marathon in December

R2R2R has been on our list for a while. hopefully next year we will finally get to tackle it. little motivation for you... women's unsupported FKT is 8hrs... men's supported is 5:55. oh and the double crossing is 17:55.

if you put in a heavy load of training to prepare for this, you'll be surprised at how much it can help your marathon time. trained for my 1st 100-miler before running a marathon. you legs know what its like to be on them for long time so the marathon "feels short".
