Lets just take the most popular projected starting 5 out. Waters, smart, taylor, naz, bigby williams .......gone.

Whats left:

Mays/kingsby
Edwards/graves
Rachel/thomas
Days/ Simms
E williams/ cooper

That line up with will wade coaching. How many lsu teams do we beat since Brady left?

there's been a few threads on this....but you should listen to the Brady interview on 104.5. he has been to a couple of practices and gives some good insight on the team. Didn't sound like that'd be the starting 5 if the season was today. However, my worthless opinion is that he'll play alot of players especially early in the year to get a feel for his team and the best lineups. Also, the matchup may dictate who plays more minutes some games. Unlike last year CWW will have a ton of options.

I just picked the most talent generic starting 5 with bigby williams playing center because he is that tall defensive rebounder. Had to pick a 5 to take away. Lol.

OP is saying our projected backups this year would beat several of the Johnson/Jones teams. And he’s probably right.

I agree that he's right.

I know bigby-williams is a defensive guy, but hoops has turned into a fast paced score-first play defense later game.

I could see WW going with Waters, Smart, Williams, Reid, and his choice of the best next scoring option.

Taylor highlight film from last season is just crazy. I think he is a favorable option at the 3. He rebounds, shoots and SEEMS like he can defend 1-4.

Either way I think we’re instore for a great season.

This is a thread about our first five off the bench. I actually felt if smart and bigby williams were included in this, the marcus Thornton sec title team would be the only one safe. So i counted them as starters.

I agree and follow. I think we will see a lot of Waters, Smart, Mays, Williams, and Reid finishing games. And I say that because they are the best 5 players on our team talent-wise.

We will have to see how well Edwards, Taylor, and Bigby play though. Either one of them could be finishers, but time will tell. Nobody in this thread can say how it’s gonna go obviously. I do think the obvious starters are Waters, Mays, Taylor/Edwards, Reid, Bigby.
