That's the whole premise behind this thread and you know it.
It is about keeping dangerous people out 1st and foremost
It is also about raising the "contribution capability" level of new people coming in

Yeah, if your mind immediately goes to race. The whole wanting to cut refugee count down has nothing to do with race but has a lot to do with what is going on in Europe with the Islamic "migrants". It's called watching and learning.
Nobody wants that here where it's a powder keg of certain types who despise the current culture they now live in.
