This is not my logic, but it’s absurd to apply someone’s beliefs on drugs to a concept like immigration. They aren’t comparable.

The fundamentals are the exact same, your stance on drugs (if I understand your post correctly) was if we allow some of something, then we should allow all of something.
It doesn't work, IMO, with drugs, immigration, or anything. There has to be a line somewhere between "allow none of it," and "allow all of it."
