I think Jamal Lewis has a chance to get in if there is a push for him. Super Bowl champ, top 25 all time in rushing yards, all pro, OPOY and had a vote for POY. However, he had an arrest really early on in his career, drugs I think, and that could keep him out.

Of that era though, I think Fred Taylor has a good shot.

He has almost no shot. If he wasn’t popular enough by the fans or the media to make more than one pro bowl or All-Pro team during his 13 year career, then I highly doubt the media will think highly of him now. And his numbers aren’t impressive enough to overcome that. Nor was he starter on a super bowl team or anything (not his fault but that usually helps some).
