I know if I had extra cash laying around this is the business I would invest in. With the boomers aging, these assisted living places are going to be in high demand.

But the boomers don’t have a dime saved to their name for retirement.

The industry took a little downturn for a moment, a pause if you will. However, the latest reports indicate that business will pick back up. The older properties either need to reinvest back into their product or understand where they are in today's world of competition and lower their price substantially (doubtful) or sell and become something else, i.e. regular apartment complex so to speak.
