O said the QB competition is “very equal” & for the love of god I hope it’s not. So my question is has anyone seen this “equal competition” and can give a real status update on it.

Burrow hasn’t even had a practice yet. How would it look if he made him starter without even competing with the guys that have been there working for the position. He would lose the QB room and maybe other members on the team.

It was equal prior to Joe arrival on campus but he hasn't seen Joe throw yet so im sure it'll change once that happens

There hasn't been a practice and the coaches cant even be around the players with a ball in their hands. Doesn't mean they haven't, but they definitely wont disclose anything that says otherwise at risk of getting in trouble. In about 3 weeks more information will be out. Competition is good, and it'll have been over 3 months since we have seen these guys throw when camp rolls around. They've been working so you never know who could make a leap. I'm excited to see how it shakes out, but expect Burrow to be the guy of course.

This just means that O and Ensminger equally agree that Burrow will be the starter.
