My Weather Underground app must have unreliable readings in the short term. I haven't checked it live in a long time, but it always checks out when I look at reports later in the day (5-6 hours later).
When I posted it was showing 2.5, 6, and 4.5 inches between 9 am and noon. I checked it just now and it has "revised" them to 3.22, 2.40, and 1.05 inches. So that mostly matches up with what you said.
6.67 inches in 3 hours is the new amount. I guess it's imprecise for a couple hours in high variance situations.

No worries, man....I have told that what I consider to be 13 inches is actually 6 inches all my adult life.
