Yes....but you do realize water you just discribed isn’t typically taken from the environment.

It’s in a closed loop, chilled by external water.

Here is where the significant difference: you can use non potable water as a chill system such as salt water or *gasp* in this case the water isn’t really consumed but merely heated.

In a decent sized body of water you wouldn’t even lose much to evaporation.


Did you even consider these before deciding to be a smartass?
