I have high hopes for Brewster, but I hope we aren't putting our faith in a guy that has zero first team experience and coming off a season ending ankle injury..

I'd be okay not signing a true #9, but we need depth that can help this season... even if its a shaqiri type who can spell salah/mane.. But ideally someone who can play centrally, too... unless we think Salah can play up top from time to time.. or perhaps Fekir (who knows) can play the false nine..

I think they should sell Ings/Studge... Send Dom out on loan... Could Origi be an option? I am not enamored with him, but he is a #9 who can score at times.. depth needed..

I'm still a Solanke guy. He actually *does* now have a season of first team experience.

Not a lot of minutes, but he was an available selection and practiced with the first team throughout last season.

I still believe that, provided more minutes, he'll be excellent.

Now that's simply belief and I, of course, can provide no evidence.

I’m fine with keeping Origi around if we don’t sign a true backup 9. Hell he still managed to score goals when he was here. Unfortunately Ings and Solanke struggled with that. And as many problems as Origi has had despite not living up to his potential, at least he put the ball in the back of the net at a decent rate for a backup
