I can add a few things. We spent 6 nights at Malliouhana in Meads bay. I would highly recommend that area. The hotel itself is awesome and has more charm than the four seasons. But the four seasons is king and is done to perfection (hence why the two previous owners who built it went bankrupt).
1. If you stay in Meads bay you really only need to rent a car one maybe two days. There are tons of great restaurants (Jacala, Blanchard’s and Straw hat being our favorites).
2. Everyone says to go to shoal bay (where Zemi is) and it’s nice but I didn’t find it much better than Meads; however, there was a lot of snorkeling to do there.
3. There are villas up and down Meads bay that are cheaper than four seasons / malli.
4. We went snorkeling out of Sandy Ground. Again fine and we liked Dolce Vita for dinner but there are better places to spend a day.
5. Eat bbq - there are tons of places. We enjoyed B+D and Sunshine Shack
The island is probably running at 75% right now and won’t be 100% until next season - fingers crossed for no hurricanes.

I second the Meads Bay recommendation. I like Shoal Bay East but it’s a little too far from most of the restaurants I like.
Ocean Echo is another good casual spot on Meads.
Sandy Ground has some good restaurants but not a place to spend a day.
Rendezvous Bay is actually my favorite beach but not as many options as Meads Bay. Gotta at least get a drink at the Sunshine Shack though.
