What's the shittiest job you've ever had?

...and why?
Can be terrible for whatever reason you choose (shite pay, long hours, boss is a cuck, etc.)
When I was 15 I had an under the table job digging trenches for a sprinkler and drainage company. Back breaking work in the heat of the summer. shite sucked, but I made good money without paying taxes.

The good old days before you got your green card?

I interned on Wall Street one summer while at Wharton.
Overworked and grossly underpaid.

Shittiest job overall was loading classroom size chalkboards on to the back of trucks. Shittiest individual job was burning the shite cans under the latrines.

Taxidermist supply company in HS. We made the molds and shipped them all over the country. It was dirty and hot but it paid more than minimum wage which was $4.25 at the time

I've never had that bad of a job. Worked at a boot store to setup and work a tent sale when I was 15 or so. It was hot as shite putting the tent up and all the stuff out there, but not too bad. All my jobs in college where office student jobs which suck because you're just filing shite all day, but nothing really to complain about.

I have never disliked working. Waiting tables in college (the Chimes) was good money for a college student. My current job is probably the most chaotic, but I enjoy it.

Had to detail both of grandfather’s Rolls Royces my first summer home from Cornell twice a week. Just a harrowing experience getting turtle wax all over my timberlands.

Brick layers helper at age 15. New construction so no grass, trying to steer 300lb wheelbarrows on 2x8s around houses with deep mud on either side of the slippery walking board. I dumped more mortar than I delivered. And when I got it there, it was either too sandy, too soupy, or too dry. I also almost killed myself and others trying to throw stacks of bricks up the scaffold. I quickly earned the nickname “mulehead”.
All of that was fun compared to the holes that developed in my fingers.

Air temp was 33 degrees. Steady wind driven deluge. Wearing yellow slicker and matching pants. They were mine. That is. I was working out in the elements previous to this instance
I swung a pick. Green serpentine.
We could not use a back hoe at the location.
I wore borrowed rain boots. Got some fungus.
I was working for free on a Saturday. As service. The location was a meditation retreat center. Quiet. Hence no back hoe. I was in good shape. Swinging a pick on serpentine is my toughest.

Working for a friend of my father cleaning business machines back in the 70's.. He paid me $1.50 an hour... The business was based out of his house, with the work areas in the garage...
When work was caught up, he had me doing his personal shite around his house.. Like cleaning... When that started, I hit the road... Told my dad, he didn't blame me for quiting..

Working in the distribution center warehouse for Academy one summer. Making minimum wage, dealing with a bunch of bs, working with complete idiots. A couple of guys would pull out one of the pallets and make a little place to take naps during the day on the clock. It was kinda depressing seeing 60 year olds working hard in the heat for shite money.

That’s how I feel when I see old pizza delivery drivers pull up in total beater cars. At that age you should be doing okay at worst.
