Absolutely none of that supports his claim.

The attention is what I have a problem with. Not everyone thinks like you. Some want their 15 minutes. I'm not saying everyone in the Cajun Navy is an imbecile, I'm saying they embolden others that were otherwise out of harms way, to put themselves in harms way, for the attention.

Texas turning them away supports his claim. That was the reason they got turned away.
And they should have known that would happen and honored Texas' decision.
It's one thing to do it in your area that you know. Trying to do that in an area you are not familiar with, that makes you a liability.
