What tha frick?
You think plucking people out of homes with boats is similar to that??

What's your point? What's the number to the United Cajun Navy?

If you were stranded in your home and a cajun navy guy had his boat at your house, you wouldnt jump in it with your family?

No.
I'm saying just because I've seen it doesn't mean I'm capable of it.

South Texas was hit with extensive flooding this week. The Cajun Navy did their rescue thing as usual.
The water has receded and now the CN is collecting the usual supplies for residents to use for their cleanup along with bottled water, bug spray and mosquito repellent which are in short supply in the affected area now.
I just know based on your compassionate posting history you will be anxious to help.

Of course. Never said I wouldn't.

My belief is that the coverage, branding and grouping together of volunteerism is empowering otherwise ordinary people, with whatever skill they think they have, to take action and further escalate an emergency situation.
ETA if you want to be a first responder, go do that. Dont be a bass fishermen with a boat.

You got proof of this? Because it's absolutely ridiculous.

It's bizarre how certain ideological minded people really hate volunteerism and try to bash it every chance they get.
Social media has made us hyper-aware of how shitty, scummy and/or stupid many people are.

Idiot needs to be rescued trying to rescue
That's one, I'm sure if I took the time, I could find more.

So people are better off being stranded because these people aren't "first responders"
People have jobs, families and step up when help is needed. No need for you people to averanalyze this stuff.

You’re a complete fricking idiot.
Just saying.

I understand. You're being short sighted.
I'm arguing against people seeking out to help.
If I see you drowning, I'd probably help. Or you're on a house fire and I'm walking by, sure. But I'm against rallying the troops to go to a situation and add to it.

Look at this piece of dog shite bitching about people who took the time and effort to help those in need while his fat lazy arse hasn’t lifted one of the Cheeto encrusted fat, grubby sausages he calls fingers to help a single person since the whore he calls momma shat him out of the maw that is her diseased and well used vagina.

Tails are things that animals have. Tales are stories, penis breath.

Thank you for being the only one to answer the question.
I won't give anything to CN based on past dealings with them, but may send supplies through another organization.
