He wasn't defending trump, the guy was obsessed over corporations/news media being able to say what they wanted and he was highlighting the fact that trump was suing a news org for defamation along the same lines he sued. It had nothing to do with supporting political ideology.
His entire Twitter feed shows a deep obsession over the legal system.

I've never been against gay marriage. Never disliked the gay folks I know. Hell in college my roommate was gay but we didn't know it at the time although we suspected it.
You are such a bore, I now hope Trump becomes the man you've claimed he is. Given you nonstop bullshite posting for 2 years about any rumor you can scrounge up, I hope he becomes exactly what you feared.
I hope he appoints the most right wing conservative church going evangelical. Not someone you claim is right wing, I mean someone I look at and think, damn. He's gone too far.
