I was out of the student section and the stadium when cop stop us to tell us we had another play. I listened to win on the radio on the back of the cop car, it felt like a L.

Walking into the Superdome I decided to place an ill advised $1000 on LSU plus the over. The last time I've bet on LSU in my life. The only thing I could think about after the game was how I should have bet on Alabama to guarantee a decent day for myself.

I walked out and couldn't be found for a bit. It was embarrassing on a personal level in hindsight.

That's the good thing about painful embarrassing losses. It brings you back to earth and gives you perspective.

When you are flying high and your team can do no wrong you live and die with each game. And that takes some joy out of it.

Instead of just enjoying it and taking it for what it is, entertainment.
