I think I found the problem -i.e. miscommunication

My wife had a miscarriage fairly recently too, and was not able to be in a right mind for a long time.

A better way to handle this eould have been to ask her why she was prescribed this medication- or call the doctor and ask.

Eta2- she was telling the truth when she said she was pregnant (before the miscarriage)

You serious? The question was phrased that way in the article because the article is stating that the pharmacist asked if she was pregnant at the time.

He didn’t ask her, “Were you pregnant?” He asked, “Are you pregnant?”
