Not that crackpot imo. I actually was gonna predict that before the finale. Last episode he hid his card in the book Slaughterhouse Five, which has a famously unreliable narrator—Billy Pilgrim. Hell, the 1st sentence of the book is “All this happened, more or less.” I thought for sure the big reveal was gonna be that William had actually died in the bathtub, but wasn’t able to accept it.

But I don’t think it makes sense to wait until next season to show it, so that’s out the window. We know William is dead at the end. But “when” is that at? And when exactly did he actually die? Or does it even matter at this point?


This may have all been discussed, I’m still on page 3 after finally getting to the finale last night.
