That was impressive footage of his talent.
Hope it translates to the SEC.

This is getting so tired. The season can't get here quick enough.

1960 South end-zone - troop @158 - trying to find drunks football seats
1970 -74 - US Navy
1978-79 - installed all new scoreboards LSU - American Sign - LNB / Butch Baum paid for the Football Scoreboards
1990 - my first call to Buddy
a Life of being a Tiger
Some of you dudes are crazy funny - I posted this only because I had only heard about this guys work outs - I couldn't find the work out video but I found this one
I am very excited to see this new Tiger play ! I am semi-retired and rise early - I enjoy the summer pulling together the team I might see coming my way. If on a LSU football site this bugs you - it might be your problem and not mine!

His highlight film reminds me a lot of Spencer Ware.

I agree with that - watch the video again and see how hard it is
to bring the dude down. It is not a video of him blowing up a 4 yard
hole, it's a video of him running hard very hard - love it!

We got a beast at LSU at running back - Nick Brossette.
Nick is going to have to bring it - have no issue with Nick but he has got to show more than what I have seen. Your point is well taken - High School studs don't always show off in college - same with college to Pros - time will tell.

You don’t know that.

Some of the other stuff on this board gets tiresome. Some other posters definitely have an agenda when posting.
I think you’re just a genuinely optimistic old dude. No offense on the “old” part.
I’ll always be on board with LSU. I can’t get on board with Orgeron until he proves something. Hope that’s fair enough.

Yeah, I just haven't seen it. I think he'll still be an insurance policy, the new guys will move ahead of him.

I agree with that.

quote:355 Nationally and 15th ranked RB. Solid recruit, but highly IMO would break the Top 100 and Top 5 unless the year is abnormally loaded with RBs. Harold Joiner, who picked AU over us is “highly rather”. Unless you’re calling him elite? IMO elite is a Fournette type talent against other 4-5 stars.
Especially one as highly rated as Curry.
BTW - Freaking AU got 2 Top 10 RBs and UGA got the top RB in the class. That’s freaking terrific.

Imagine how much better those highlights would have been if he had a better line to block for him. He looks like your protypical SEC power back and likely underrated.

That’s pretty high

His line may be better in college, but the defenders will be, too. So, it kinda cuts both ways. He runs hard (a big positive!). Not sure if he has the speed to be able to peel back and reverse directions after first contact at college level. Probably better as a north and south runner that hits the hole hard and gets yards after contact.
