And if he hadn't torn his Achilles then we're probably talking about how many years he'd get at the Max, not whether he gets the max or not.

The way the team played after he went down, he needs to beat out Mirotic if he wants to play starters minutes. Once the season starts I really don't think he's going to be pouting about his contract when all of his boys are wanting him to get on the court and help them win.
