re: Should airlines have dress codes?

Flying lately has made me want to exit civilization.

People just walk/stand around like idiots in the middle of concourse walkways, staring at phones. Fat, awfully dressed people everywhere. People playing "music" and having phone "conversations" on speaker. Eating disgusting food. And now on every single flight people behind me get up and try to exit plane ahead of me and others even when I know there's no connection they may miss.

I'm so over it that I've decided to just drive (R/V if long) from now on, unless going abroad.

JerseyTiger once said about people in airports: "Wholly unimpressive."

ETA: and about 90% of the time I'm next to a large person. I'm 6' and have a non-small structure (but no excess body fat), and I stay squarely in my space and never hog the arm rest. Can not a single other member of society ever return the favor? Also, there should be some system where everyone puts in height/weight and be assigned seats next to differently sized passengers.
